Barry Weinberg has spent over 45 years in professional baseball as an Athletic Trainer for the New York Yankees, Oakland Athletics and St. Louis Cardinals.
He began his athletic training career in the minor leagues with the Pittsburgh Pirates.
Barry has been a part of seven World Series being on the winning side in three – with Oakland in 1989 and the Cardinals in 2006 and 2011.
He was the Athletic Trainer for four MLB All-Star games, 1987, 1993, 2005 and 2009.
Barry was inducted into the Washington D.C. Jewish Sports Hall of Fame in 1996 and received a Distinguished Alumni Award from Springfield College in 2006.
Weinberg received his Bachelor’s degree from Springfield College in Physical Education and his Master’s degree in Athletic Training from Indiana University.
He is an author, motivational speaker and self-proclaimed foodie.
